La rose est sans pourquoi
Love is gratuitous and creation is an act of pure love, therefore without any reason or necessity. How do I know this? Because I know that a love with a goal is no longer love but a strategy. Something that reduces the being to a somewhat miserable thing, a personality in need. It cannot be God, or creative intelligence. This is what bothers me about all these mental conceptions of God or the Source. The Source cannot be mental. The mental is construction. Everything that is constructed will be destroyed sooner or later. How do I know this? Because I have experienced it. This is how the love of God or the grace of God is most often manifested: Through the loss and destruction of all constructions. The Buddhist point of view is therefore not a mental curiosity, it is the real that is recognized in its absolute love that precedes all creation and which is at the same time the impulse of creation itself. Thus wrote a certain Rhenish mystic: “The rose is without why,” Angelus Silesius revealing this same reality.
